Frequently Asked Questions

  • Truth of the matter is; Photography is all about taste. And just like with for example ice cream, there are a lot of flavours to choose from. I always suggest you compare styles and choose a photographer that portrays people like you wish to be portrayed. My extensive experience, education, and proven coaching technique will however ensure you'll come away with a fantastic headshot if you were to choose me.

  • If you were to come to my studio the session fee will vary between SEK 1500:- and SEK 2500:-, in both packages 1 edited image is included. Additional images can be purchased for SEK 500:-. Most people purchase at least one extra image which will give them two different looks for different use-cases.

If you want me to come and photograph you or your team on location please get in touch and I will come with a bespoke proposal.

  • My studio is in central Gustavsberg, a 20 min bus ride from Slussen. In the harbour here are plenty of cosy cafes and restaurants to work from if you would like to extend your time in this beautiful area.

  • There are some similarities between the two. In basic terms, a headshot is a professionally captured portrait that emphasizes the face and shoulders. I take these in landscape orientation and will deliver in my square, signature, format.

In our interconnected world, a contemporary headshot is valuable for individuals seeking to promote themselves in a professional context.

  • My cameras of choice are the Fujifilm GFX 50 R, medium format, and the Fujifilm X-H1 with APS-C sensor. Both cameras create stunning images in combination with the quality lenses I pair them with.

For lighting I always use Godox bi-colour LED lights and I shoot my portraits against hand-painted canvas backgrounds!

  • After our session we will sit down and quickly go over the shots together. During our session I will select images on an ongoing basis, a final selection made together with you will end up on your personal online gallery on which you can select your images from the comfort of your couch :-)!

  • After you have made your selection in your online gallery I will deliver your retouched images within a week (5 business days) via the same portal where you will have a separate folder with dowloadable images in both low and high resolution jpegs as well as TIFF format if requested.

  • I process my images in Capture One. Included in the edits I do is a quick cleanup of the image, tidying up blemishes on the skin and colour adjustments. Extra focus is on making your eyes pop, which is a key element in my portraits.

  • During our session my camera will be connected to the computer which will allow us to look at the images as we go trough our session. This way we can pivot if the result is not satisfying and you will have the confidence that you will come away with something great.

  • As the photographer, I hold the rights to the images, while you possess a license for fair use. This means you can use them within reasonable limits, but there are restrictions. You cannot sell them, pass them off as your own, use them for advertising, or publish them without my approval. I have the right to use my work for advertising, competitions, and exhibitions.
